How KeepUp.in Works

Course Info

KeepUp organizes courses as a list of dates. Each date can indicate the Class Activity like lecture topic, what students Should Do like read the chapter before class, and what students are Required to do like take an exam or submit a homework by a certain time.

Anyone can enter these key dates for any course at any school. Each course indicates who entered it so you can choose whether to rely on it or enter your own. Each entered course gets its own URL that students can share with their peers and teachers can share with their students.

Not all courses are visible to all people. When entering a course you can set it Private so no one else can see it or private to your school so only people with the same school email address can see it. Otherwise it is Public.

Email Reminders

The main use of KeepUp is to receive reminders of what's coming up your courses. When you Follow a course, each Saturday you'll get an email detailing the course activities, should-dos, and required activities for the following week.

Any time you can also visit My Courses for a summary of the coming week. It's designed to work on your smart phone for handy access.

Calendar Sync

To help you plan your time, KeepUp brings your course information right into your existing electronic calendar application. Any application supporting the standard iCalendar format will work, including Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal and others.

On any course page simply the buttons to add to your calendar application and each date will appear there. If any changes are made to the course, your calendar will automatically update.
